Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Williamson Automation ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Carter Williamson. By purchasing or using any of our services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Williamson Automation provides custom website design and development for local businesses. Two tiers — $250 and $500+ — depending on scope. No monthly fees.

2. Payments

Full payment due before website goes live. Cash or check accepted. All prices USD.

3. Delivery

Website delivered within 48 hours of payment. Assumes timely communication from client.

4. Ownership & Intellectual Property

You own everything. Website code, design, and all content becomes your property upon payment. If you ever want to move to a different host, I'll hand over all files at no charge. I reserve the right to display your project in my portfolio unless you request otherwise.

5. Revisions

Simple changes (text, photos, small tweaks) are free. Just email me. Bigger requests (new pages, new features, major redesigns) will be quoted separately.

6. Hosting

Your website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages for free. Domain registration is separate (~$10-15/yr) — I can register one for you or you can use your own.

7. What's Not Included

E-commerce, paid advertising management, standalone logo design, email hosting, professional photography. Need any of these? Email me for a quote.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Williamson Automation's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the service.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
  • We are not responsible for the results of any marketing efforts, search engine rankings, or business outcomes arising from our services. While we employ industry best practices, we cannot guarantee specific results.
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of third-party services, platforms, or tools in connection with our services.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • For material changes that affect your pricing or service scope, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
  • Your continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Chenango County, New York.
